The Plantronics CS55 has a 200 ft range and the battery lasts a full 8 hours. It includes a variety of different ear-pieces and the option of using it as a typical over-the-head headset microphone. The battery in the mic unit charges in the base unit which in turn receives its power either via the USB connection or the supplied AC adapter.
