We tested the Samson Q7 Dynamic Microphone for two reasons. First it interested us because of the specification of "Super Cardiod" pickup pattern. It also is extremely reasonably priced for a Pro-Audio microphone of this type. The fact that the Samson Q7 tests closest to the Sennheiser MD431II at a fraction of the cost makes the Q7 a true winner.
